Beijing International Standards Conference 2007William Cox presented three talks at the Beijing International Standards Conference, November 2007. The slides are available for download in Chinese and in English (Adobe Acrobat PDF, two-up):
The latter talk was in a session on End-to-End Resource Planning, a technology for optimizing business processes; context on what EERP does was provided by other talks. (This page will be updated in the future with EERP references and notes). Software Architecture Success FactorsWilliam Cox presented a tutorial at the OASIS Symposium in April 2007. While the Title is Standards and Architecture: How to Succeed, the tutorial included a brief look at how you can improve any software project or product. A condensed version of part of this tutorial was presented at the Beijing International Standards Conference with the title "Five Secrets to Standards Success." The tutorial slides (Adobe Acrobat PDF, two-up, 160 kilobytes) are available for download here or as PowerPoint on the OASIS Symposium 2007 Proceedings site. Additional materials, including a pre-questionnaire, used at the presentation of that tutorial are available on request.
